I am currently accepting cases in most Northern California counties, including but not limited to Shasta, Lake, Butte, Tehama, Siskiyou, Trinity, Modoc, Humboldt, Glenn, Alameda, and San Francisco counties.
When it comes to family law case types, my law career has taken me to all corners of the family law world. I pride myself on being able to handle challenging and unusual cases. I find great joy in deescalating cases that have previously seemed unresolvable. My mentor once told me, “All I know about family law is divide by two!” and while it’s supposed to be that simple, I understand it rarely is. Family is important. If there’s been a breakdown, it’s incredibly important to have an attorney who gets the need for both delicate handling and vigorous advocacy.
Not all of family law is distressing. Sometimes, it’s joyous and wonderful, like in step-parent or second parent adoptions. I happily handle those cases as well and look forward to helping families either grow or be formally recognized by the court.
